It’s that time of year again for the Table Bay (CW12) District Orienteering Competition! As usual, will be doing our best to make the event fun for the whole patrol, take you to an interesting location and get some practice in before the Provincial Competition!
The competition will take place on Saturday 20 August 2016, with the official opening at 13h00 (so arrive from 12h30 for registration) and will end by 16h00. The official starting location will be sent out to all the patrols who have pre-registered on Monday 15 August 2016, so nobody will have the advantage.
Pre-registration cut-off date is Sunday 14 August 2016
Teams need to consist of standing patrols, but if members cannot attend we will accept teams as small as 4 members, but no smaller. Remember, to be eligible to win the trophy you must be a standing patrol as loaded teams will not be counted for the running.
Teams must participate in full scout uniform and have signed parent consent forms.
Entry fee will be R40 per team which must be paid into Table Bay Rovers Account before the pre-registration cut-off date. Because we need to print maps and mark sheets for all the entrants we require teams to pre-register. Sending pre-registration numbers to firstname.lastname@example.org
