Service Project at Fallen Angels

On the 3rd September, Saturday, rovers from the Table Bay and Rondebosch Crew helped out at Fallen Angels, a pet rescue farm in Melkbos

Emil, Ashley and Joel were tasked with moving recent donation of dog food onto shelves. With good teamwork, we finished moving ~50 25kg bags in about 20 minutes, with the help of 2 other volunteers (thanks Talon and Jaden!)

Robyn, Tanna and Kimberley were asked to fold blankets and organise general supplies in the storage room. Both rooms were much cleaner after we left!

Soon after we walked our first set of dogs who were so happy to meet new people and equally sad when their turn ended. Thankfully the weather held out and we were able to continue walking dogs after our lunch break.

This was Tanna’s squire challenge and will be invested by our next CIC meeting!
