The Food For Life program is a multinational project, initially implemented by Scouts SA, but also adopted by other Sub-Saharan Associations that focuses on teaching children sustainable gardening practices, with particular focus on providing their own food and clean drinking water, but also integrates concepts of permaculture and recycling. At the Table Bay Rovers, we try to be leaders in these practices, from recycling and using renewable water sources, to organically growing food for our own charity projects. We integrate the Cub Food For Life badge with the Leaping Wolf Workshop that we run in our District for 10-year-olds.
