Roberts Trophy 2022
This year, 5 teams from 4 troops participated. Scouts started with their first base at the Table Bay Rover Den and slowly made their way to 1st Blaauwberg’s scout hall, walking/running along Milnerton and Sunset beach.
There were 11 bases that our teams had to report to and complete a challenge. Some favourites were:
- Base 3 where scouts had to remove toxic waste (water container) from a circle, without entering the circle or spilling the waste.
- Base 6 where scouts had to build and operate a Swinging Derrick (a crane that is used to lift heavy objects like logs into place).
Unfortunately, the competition was cut short due to poor weather and all the teams were transported to Blaauwberg hall by car.
