10 more Cubs100 ECD Projects outstanding!

Congratulations to all who implemented a community project at an Early Childhood Development Center last year in honour of the Cubbing Centenary!

We are striving to complete 100 projects but there are still 10 outstanding… yes, only ten more to go and we would have helped 100 centres where children learn their first basic skills.

So come on Cubs, Scouts and Rovers! (from Groups in good standing only) Apply for an Early Childhood Development Grant between R2000 and R5000 and help us achieve the goal of 100 projects!

The ECD service projects must benefit early childhood development and could include: improving buildings, building play parks, starting a food garden, doing an environmental education project or get an ECD toolbox (educational resources) from the national office and hand it over to an ECD center in need of materials whilst playing games with the children present.

The ECD project funding was raised by our Chief Scout Sibusiso Vilane in Germany in partnership with Nangu Thina and the Umckaloabo Foundation.
